as cliche as it is, I did choose UCL for the film society <3
my main goals for this year if elected as secretary:
⭐️ a central calendar and opportunities board, to organize all the amazing jobs that come through on the telegram chat!
⭐️ transparent and accessible information for all society members, including summarized meeting notes and frequent communication!
⭐️ collaboration with all committee members to streamline roles, reorganize existing systems, and help build the most efficient society for future films!
⭐️ bring back the filmsoc website in a new and innovative way!
I've had an amazing time meeting everyone this year, and getting involved with all the different things that FilmSoc has to offer! I've been a bts photographer on term films, I was showrunner on the Tim Bevan talk show, so many photoshoots in the studio, currently working on Varsity, and have been to many socials and workshops!
my experience as assistant producer on 4 artsucl productions this year, meant I've been responsible for many different tasks, under strict deadlines! theatre is a fact-paced business! I learned the room booking system, took meeting notes and helped with efficient meeting scheduling, communicated between many different departments, and helped put together some amazing shows with some amazing teams!
