I am a second-year student at UCL undertaking the interdisciplinary Creative Arts and Humanities BA, centred around the practice of storytelling through three disciplines - writing, moving image, and performance. With experience in digital marketing, media production, and film editing, I am passionate about visual storytelling and aspire to pursue a career in the film industry.
I am excited to run for Marketing Officer of Film and TV Society, a role that blends my passions for film and marketing, allowing me to grow as a creative learner.
Before joining UCL, I completed a social voluntary year at the Kestner Gesellschaft, an art gallery in my hometown (Hannover, Germany). As a volunteer, I managed all social media accounts, curated content, edited pictures and videos, maintained a consistent posting schedule, engaged with audiences, and updated the website. My intention was always for content to match the gallery’s aesthetic and captivate its audience.
At UCL, I was Head of Marketing for Reclamation (BAME 2024) and contributed to PiTV’s marketing team. I developed creative campaigns, designed graphics, directed photoshoots, and managed social media platforms. These experiences have honed my marketing skills and deepened my understanding of visual engagement.
As Marketing Officer, I will craft compelling content to promote engagement, increase reach, and strengthen UCL’s film-loving community.
Film lovers—vote for me!

As the current Marketing Officer of UCL Film & TV Society, I’ve absolutely loved this role and the creativity it allows me to bring to our social media platforms. My Canva account has never seen so much action—but no complaints here! Beyond just crafting posts for the UCL FilmSoc Instagram and answering DMs, I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know the inspiring members of this vibrant society—whether at socials, screenings, or on set as an Assistant Producer for the Term 1 film, Ask Again Later.
I’m running for this position again because I want to further my contribution to this thriving community. As Marketing Officer, my goal for next year is to drive engagement and participation to new heights. This society has given me incredible opportunities to pursue my passions in both film production and advertising, and I’m eager to continue to build on them. So, if you’ve been enjoying the look of the UCL Film & TV Society Instagram and want to see more, I’d love to have your vote!
