As Drama Producer, I want to help bring everyone’s creative visions and stories to life and make sure Term Films always run smoothly, so that our projects are fulfilling and enjoyable from the start to the end of the process.
I love FilmSoc; I first got involved by joining the GendFilm crew as 1st Assistant Director last year and since then I’ve been AD twice more and I'm now executive producing GendFilm 2025. As AD I’ve effectively organised the shooting schedule and managed the crew so that everyone has a positive experience. I’ve learnt so much on every film I’ve been part of, and I’m always so inspired by all of the amazing people on set.
I want to produce innovative and diverse stories at FilmSoc, and broaden the scope of student filmmaking. Given the amazing reputation of the society at UCL, I would harness this opportunity and bring to life experimental projects that we can be proud of, and that challenge filmmaking conventions.
I have experience interning at a TV production company, and I enjoy creating spreadsheets for absolutely everything, so I would feel confident leading the crew through logistics, freeing up more time for their creative expression.
This is why I would love to become Drama Producer, to help ensure that our Term Films are organised and efficient, and continue to offer students the opportunity to work together, be creative, produce great work, and learn along the way.
