Hello guys, my name is Louis and I am standing as treasurer because I believe a strong president needs a strong financial advisor. You can place your trust on me to handle and organise all the funds so that filsoc does not go broke! (p.s. I have not reached overdraft yet in my personal account which just goes to show how well i manage my money hahaha).
If you know me, you know that i do have a habit of eating out at different places a lot, however, as treasurer this will not be the case >:| Trust me, I am serious about this position and I promise to budget and handle all fees so that all future filsoc events will continue to run smoothly.
If you want somebody who is an active member of filsoc, has problem solving skills (architecture student so knows math therefore will make sure payments are organised) and communcation skills, (so will work closely with committee to create budgets for events) AND can work together with social sec as a fellow tiktok influencer (louis.8280), then vote for me because ‘If you want a SAY, vote for SAEZ’!!

5 reasons why I would be the BEST Treasurer for Filipino Society:
1. Strong Financial and Analytical Skills - I study economics! Furthermore, my summer internship at HDI Global Specialty involved financial modeling, cost analysis, and data-driven decision-making, equipping me with the skills to effectively manage society’s budget. Moreover, I am proficient at using Excel, which is imperative for a Treasurer.
2. Leadership and Organisational Experience - As a former Prefect and Vice Captain, I have successfully coordinated events, charity drives and managed responsibilities, demonstrating my ability to oversee financial planning and execution for the society.
3. Teamwork and Communication - My year-long participation in a Business Insight Programme with Deloitte Ventures means I am no stranger to working in teams as well as keeping an open mind. I am experienced in public speaking, presenting projects to audiences from students to CEO and executives.
4. Adaptability and Time Management - When I used to work as a sushi chef assistant, I had to multitask and work efficiently, which has translated to my personal life - balancing academics, sports and work.
5. Passion for Community and Culture - I love my friends and I love Filipino society. I will do my best to make everyone feel involved and have a fun time at university, even if it means making personal sacrifices. I believe the best Filipino societies need a strong President and an even stronger Treasurer.
