Organisation, communication and collaboration are the important elements which allow EISPS society to successfully function. I am running for secretary general this year because I understand the critical role the secretary general plays in a successful EISPS society. Secretary general strengthens the communication between the society leadership, the society members and third parties. I have the communication skills for this role. I am able to cohesively get my point across in discussions, but also an active and sympathetic listener. I am no stranger to public speaking whether in presentations, through speech or on stage. I care for the opinions of others and am always curious to learn from my peers. I am calm and open-minded in discussion, therefore frequently the one who finds a compromise between arguing parties, I am a strong mediator.

I am also a strong organiser, no stranger to planning events. For example in my role in my school's graduation committee I worked to help find the venue communicating between school leadership and the venue staff, as well as working on event scheduling and on coaching our class speakers for the stage. I am flexible, I am always ready to help out with whatever needs to be done, whether it's phoning venues or emailing society members. I am proactive, I do not need to be promoted to take necessary action.

My adaptability, communicative skills and organisational abilities are why I believe I am a good fit to be secretary general.
