As a former Marketing Executive for UCL Entrepreneurs, I was deeply inspired by the Women in Tech events and their impact on fostering inclusivity and innovation.
Now, as Women in Tech Director, I aim to build a strong and supportive community for female students passionate about technology, innovation, and driving change.
My focus will be on:
1. Community Building – Creating a welcoming space through networking events, mentorship programs, and discussions with inspiring female leaders.
2. Collaboration & Support – Encouraging connections between students, alumni, and professionals to foster meaningful relationships that help women support and uplift each other.
3. Empowerment & Growth – Providing resources, career opportunities, and skills-based workshops to equip women with the confidence and knowledge to make an impact.
My goal is to ensure that everyone in our community feels empowered, valued, and inspired to take bold steps in tech and entrepreneurship. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels supported to bring their ideas to life and shape the future.

Together, we can create a space where everyone feels supported to bring their ideas to life and shape the future.

Women in tech are shaping the future, and I want to ensure we have the visibility, support, and opportunities to thrive in entrepreneurship and beyond. With my industry connections and experience, I’ll work to bring in inspiring speakers, mentorship programs, and exclusive career-building events tailored to empower women in this space.
Beyond networking, I want to create tangible opportunities—whether that’s through workshops, funding insights, or collaborations with industry leaders. My goal is to help women in tech break barriers, gain confidence, and build ventures that make an impact.
Let’s break barriers, build connections, and create real opportunities. Vote for me to drive Women in Tech forward :))

Hi there!
I hope you are all well.
I am Fanni, a theoretical physics student from Sweden. I do not want to waste your time, so I will be concise.
Throughout middle-and-high school, I was involved in several projects, the main ones being co-founder and leader of outreach and logistics of the environmental club for 6 years, Student Council President, Youth Ocean Champion for Keep Sweden Tidy (one of the biggest environmental organisations in Sweden).
Currently, I serve as the co-founder and leader of the UK Youth Chapter branch of the International Women in Business 4 AI (IWIB4AI) global think-tank. I am also the elected First Year Representative at UCL Physics Society.
If you couldn't tell already, I ADORE working with people and organisations inside and outside UCL. The people are truly what make a society so great, and I can tell from meeting some of you at the past UCL Entrepreneurs events that this community is going to be a great one. From my experience working at the IWIB4AI think-tank, I know first-hand the challenges women face to go into tech, as well as what we can do to empower them. This problem-solver attitude is what I will bring with me as the Women in Tech Director. Know that you can always come to me with any idea and I promise you that we'll try to make it happen together.
If we see eye-to-eye, I hope you vote for me.
Kind regards,
Fanni

Hi! I’m Ashley, a student studying Information Management for Business, running to be your Women in Tech Director! As a female student in a tech-related field, I understand the challenges and opportunities women face in the industry. I’m passionate about creating a supportive and empowering space for women to thrive in tech and entrepreneurship.
As Women in Tech Director, I will ensure the following:
- Empowerment: Inspire and motivate women to pursue careers in tech by providing opportunities for skill development and networking.
- Inclusive Community: Foster an environment where women can share ideas, support each other, and build confidence in their abilities.
- Skill-Building: Organize workshops, hackathons, and mentorship programs to equip members with the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed in the tech industry.
- Visibility: Amplify the voices of women in tech by hosting panel discussions, networking events, and collaborations with industry leaders to highlight their achievements and contributions.
Reflecting on my experience in high school as a co-founder of a student organisation, I’ve developed strong skills in leadership, communication, and community-building. These experiences have prepared me to take on this role and contribute to the growth and success of Women in Tech.
Thank you for your support! Together, let’s create a future where women in tech are empowered, celebrated, and unstoppable!

As a Data Science student, I stand out as a candidate for the Women in Tech Director role at the Entrepreneurship Society due to my entrepreneurial experience, dedication to fostering innovation, and commitment to empowering women in tech. During my first year, I participated in various start-up competitions and gained practical insights into technology integration, operations, and problem-solving. I understand the challenges of navigating a male-dominated industry and the importance of resilience, innovation, and leadership.
Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have experienced firsthand the importance of having a strong support system. So, I am passionate about ensuring that other women in tech have access to the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed.
As Women in Tech Director, I aim to create a space where women are encouraged to lead, innovate, and pursue their passions in technology and entrepreneurship. My key plans are:
- Mentorship programs
Invite successful and experienced female entrepreneurs in the tech industry and connect them with students interested in pursuing a tech career. This will provide guidance, support, and inspiration to help them navigate their journeys.
- Networking events and panels
I will host networking events that bring together women across different stages of their tech careers, fostering community, collaboration, and empowerment.
