About me

My name is Mark, and I am running for Vice President of Cyber Society.  I have had a great time attending the events in my first year and I want to ensure the society continues to grow and host many events next year. Whether you are a beginner or have experience in cybersecurity, my goal is to ensure everyone can benefit from the workshops while aslo enjoying challenges and socials throughout the year.

What I Will Bring to the Role:

- My ability to manage my time and multitask, means society events will remain consistent throughout the terms, and even during peak coursework season there will hopefully always be something on
- More practical workshops, including sessions with live CTFs where you can practice with others, as well as educational workshops to act as an accessible introduction to new topics.
- More one off workshops, like the lockpicking workshop from earlier this term
- More socials such as pub quizzes and inter-uni events/competitions.
- Plans to expand the societies connections and hopefully bring in more speakers and career panels. These will hopefully shed light on the core skills people are looking for as well as other top tips from alumni and experts.

Vote for me and lets make cyber society bigger and better together
