Cricket Club: Social Media Secretary

Hi, I'm Rishi, probably most infamous for coaching the 3 finger technique adopted by many cricketers at UCL.  Although, that has nish to do with cricket, I love being in social settings.

I would boss the social media sec role as I have tons of experience already as I ran previous cricket club's social media as well as worked for tik tok last summer. Furthermore, I love a cheeky private snap story or cook a good pic of London for my insta to farm likes off beanies. 

My plans for UCLCC is to increase our social media presence by filming more content of us training (both serious as well as jokes and skits). My Training contents include: Intro into cricket (promotion of cricket to beginners , something we don't yet promote; mic up the keeper behind a net of spinners, interviews with the social secs and players in the nets, showcase of top shots during training). Showing people what we actually do will increase our outreach of cricket as a sport in UCL as well as our jokes and stuff will attract regular viewers on tik tok to follow building our Prescence as a club nationally rather just in uni. Furthermore, will promote Media of our socials (ON A MAIN UCLCC INSTA/TIKTOK) - and ofc FUNSTAGRAM!

I feel with my experience and passion for being an absolute melt will help us increase our following count as well as make our club more attractive for beginners to join us whether it be for Nat and Sids' socials or train and be part of our Bucs team.

I would like to take this opportunity to display my creative vision for the club. 

Social Media for UCLMCC is about promoting the club and engaging potential future members, as well as current members, in what happens within the club. Therefore, the crux of this argument is that there should be more content on all social media formats, especially instagram and TikTok, but that does not mean to skimp on quality. High quality, frequent social media posts is what I am standing for and will provide, if elected. I pledge to provide some form of social media post for every event the club runs, be it a net session, a social, a trip, an active bystander workshop - not just to share what the club does to potential future members, but so that as many people within the society show up to these events. The content that i will offer will be serious when it needs to be, and also funny when it is appropriate too. 

While the UCLMCC social media page on instagram is top,  with more frequent posts, as well as a greater presence on TikTok, UCLMCC can have the best social media of all the UCL sports societies. If elected, I will try my utmost to achieve this.
