Dear Members of the Consulting Society,

I am excited to run for Vice President of Technology. In our rapidly evolving world, staying at the forefront of technological innovation can make all the difference in delivering high-impact consulting solutions. Drawing on my background in Computer Science and experience from internships at both a major tech firm and a leading bank, I aim to bring practical insights and real-world relevance to our society’s initiatives.

If elected, I will focus on:

  • Tech-Focused Workshops & Events: Organizing hands-on sessions on data analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Industry Partnerships: Collaborating with tech companies, thought leaders, and alumni to host guest lectures, networking sessions, and collaborative projects.
  • Practical Case Competitions: Integrating actual consulting challenges into tech-based competitions, so members can hone their problem-solving skills and showcase innovative solutions to potential employers.

Our Consulting Society can stand out as a hub of innovation and professional growth. I am committed to making technology an integral part of our society’s identity, empowering each member to thrive in the modern consulting landscape.

Thank you for considering my nomination. I look forward to the opportunity to serve and elevate our society’s technological impact.

Kareem Bzai
Candidate for Vice President of Technology
Consulting Society

Siqi Gong

I am running for this position for three simple reasons: I understand technology. More importantly, I know how to efficiently acquire essential tech skills in real-world consulting—investing minimal yet valuable time to maximize learning. Most importantly, I am always ready to help! My goal is to ensure that everyone in our society gains the technical proficiency they need.

In my past experiences, I have utilized Python, Excel, SQL, and R to analyze data, build models, and generate reports. Additionally, my involvement in consulting and business projects has given me firsthand knowledge that the real use of technology in work does not need to be as proficient as imagined. Through my following plan, everyone can master it:

  • A Microsoft Suite instruction handout for quick reference
  • Regular tech seminars
  • A ChatGPT prompts handout

I will also proactively deal with any tech-related contingencies in society's activities. Vote for me, and I’ll contribute to both your university life and career development!
