The Consulting Society has added a lot of value to my life over the past year. I have learnt so much from the Consulting Scholars Programme (thanks to Gav, Lou, Adrian and Ankie), a client project (thanks to Himanshu, Mirza, Pulkit and others), the mentorship scheme (thanks to Sofia and others), and many of the events throughout the year.
I am grateful for all these experiences and next year, I want to play a part in the successful running of the Consulting Society. Through the position of VP of sponsorships, I will be able to utilise my skillset to contribute to the society.
Through my experiences doing outreach/sales for two software startups (contacting both hundreds of self-employed individuals and almost 100 ESG professionals at private equity firms) and doing outreach for my non-profit (personally cold calling around 50 schools in London to provide them with educational workshops), I have built the necessary communication and persuasion skills required to succeed in the role.
Lots of people have communication and persuasion skills so what makes me different? Anyone who knows me would say that I am a highly driven and motivated person. That is why I think I would be a great VP of Sponsorships.

Hello everyone. My name is Rachel, and I’m excited to run for Vice President of Sponsorships. This year, I have the privilege of serving as the First-Year Representative of the Consulting Society, which has given me valuable insight into its structure and daily operations as one of the largest student organisations. I have actively contributed to and supported various events, including the Consulting Summit. Next academic year, I aim to secure more sponsorship opportunities by engaging with additional firms across London.
