Hi everyone, I’m Karis, a second-year Medical Innovation and Enterprise student, and I’m excited to run for Vice President for Events and External Relations. Over the past year, I’ve been involved in UCL Consulting Society as the Life Sciences Executive, helping connect students with consulting through events, mentorship, and competitions. This society helped me gain invaluable insights into consulting. Now, I want to create even better opportunities for others.

Why Me?

  • As Life Sciences Executive, I helped match over 100 students in the Case Buddy Program and managed logistics.
  • I  represented UCL in the Inter-University Case Competition, which gave me insight into how we can improve competitions to make them more engaging to attract more participants.
  • My role at UCL MedTech Society has equipped me with large-scale event planning, sponsorship acquisition, and industry networking experience.

My Vision

  • Strengthening partnerships with consulting firms to offer exclusive mentorship and recruitment events
  • A Supportive Community
    - A beginner-friendly program introducing case studies in a structured, accessible way.
    - Enhanced Case Buddy Program with progress check-ins and guided case prep for more meaningful mentorship.
  • Improving Case Competition Experience
    - Written Judge Feedback outlining strengths and areas for improvement after the competition.
    - Live Audience Voting  allowing non-finalists to recognize “Best Speaker” or “Most Creative Idea” for more engagement.
