Hi everyone! I’m Jovie, running to be the vice president of client projects in UCL Consulting Society. I have experience as a consultant both internally for UCLCS in one of our projects and for Cambridge Consulting Network (CCN). So far, I have witnessed firsthand how our society has helped me develop the skills I need to break into consulting, and I want to give back by improving our client projects for everyone to benefit the same way.
My initiatives to improve UCLCS as VP of Client Project include:
- Skill development training: I will invite alumni currently working in MBB firms to deliver specialised training sessions and provide resources to help students succeed in their client projects.
- Expanding the scope of projects: Securing projects across various sectors, e.g. life sciences, technology & innovation, sustainability, etc, to cater to the diverse interests of members
- Project support and quality: Regularly reach out to clients, team leads, and consultants throughout the project cycle to ensure expectations are aligned and conduct surveys to collect insights and maintain high standards
My previous experience as the co-founder of a STEM non-profit organisation has helped me develop strong leadership and communication capabilities that will allow me to excel in the role and support the society’s growth. I am committed to supporting fellow students in becoming successful consultants, strengthening client relations and ensuring our client projects create impact.
Hi, everyone!
I am Shuvam, a first-year BSc Politics and IR student. I am running to become your Vice President of Client Projects.
My journey with the Consulting Society has been defined, most notably, by the Case Study Competition, where my team and I secured 1st place. This earned me the opportunity to represent UCL at The Consulting Summit 2025. I have furthered my consulting experience and business acumen by working in start-ups and a student-run consulting initiatives (such as Blackmont).
My four main pledges are:
- Impactful projects: Ensure that the projects give members a more legitimate sense of the consulting industry and more rigor.
- Number of projects: Increase the number of client projects so more members can refine their consulting skills.
- Networking and mentorship opportunities: Collaborate with industry experts and professionals from MBB and other firms.
- Training and development: Introduce informal (and sometimes formal) case-study sessions for members.
I would love your support in making this an exciting and impactful year together!
