Rachel Bu

Hello everyone. My name is Rachel, and I’m excited to run for Secretary. This year, I have the privilege of serving as the First-Year Representative of the Consulting Society, which has given me valuable insight into its structure and daily operations as one of the largest student organisations. I have actively contributed to and supported various events, including the Consulting Summit. Next academic year, I hope to continue contributing to the society.

Jonathan Tan

Hi! I’m Jonathan, a First Year Representative for UCL Consulting Society, and I’m running to be your next Secretary of UCL Consulting Society.

Over the past year, I’ve helped organise flagship events like the Inter-uni Case Competition and Impact Careers Conference, ensuring smooth execution and strong member engagement. My experiences with London Strategic Consulting and the Singapore Army have honed my ability to manage logistics, coordinate teams, and handle high-pressure situations. Now, I’m eager to bring this skill set to UCL Consulting Society, ensuring operations run efficiently and members get the best experience.

My 4-Point Plan as Secretary:

  1. Coordination – Strengthen collaboration between committee members, project teams, and partners to improve efficiency and ensure smooth operations.
  2. Event Management – Support case competitions, workshops, and networking events by handling logistics, scheduling, and outreach for impact.
  3. Member Engagement – Keep members engaged through clear communication, newsletters, and timely updates so everyone stays informed and involved.
  4. External Partnerships – Work with societies and firms to build stronger industry links, giving members valuable consulting experience and networking opportunities.

I’m excited to contribute to UCL Consulting Society’s growth and ensure it remains the best platform for students to develop consulting skills and connections. Let’s make this happen! Vote Umair (President) & Pulkit (Treasurer) too!
