I am Raahym Rehan, and I am excited to stand for Head of Operations for the Computer Science Society. My experience as Events Officer for the UCL Mathematics Society has taught me how to coordinate and execute events seamlessly, while my participation in multiple hackathons has sharpened my ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments. I have learned how vital effective communication and resource management are to ensuring that high-quality events not only run smoothly but also inspire and engage our community. In this role, I plan to optimize our society’s operations by streamlining internal communications, effectively managing our resources, and coordinating a diverse range of events—ranging from coding challenges and hackathons to panel discussions and tech socials—that foster learning, networking, and creativity. My goal is to transform our society into a vibrant hub where every member feels supported, valued, and inspired to push the boundaries of innovation. I am deeply committed to building a culture of inclusivity and active participation, so that together, we can create memorable experiences and drive the society’s growth. I truly believe that my passion for technology, combined with proven organizational skills and a desire to continuously improve, makes me the right candidate to lead our operations to new heights.

Hello everyone,
I'm Lincoln and I'm excited to nominate myself for Head of Operations of the Computer Science Society. My experiences and passion have led me to step up and dedicate myself to the improvement of the society, and I believe that this role is well placed to achieve that vision.
During high school, I served as the president of our Computer Club, where I oversaw the committees responsible for activities and publications to ensure smooth functioning of the club. In this period I have also organized a programming competition that garnered 90+ submissions from students. Participating in other UCL societies as a subcommittee member has further enriched my experiences of collaborating and working as a team, especially in the context of a completely student-run society.
I aim to collaborate with the committee members, the CS department, as well as other societies to deliver a smooth and fruitful experience for everyone, be it in the form of career talks, workshops or social events. CSS to me has always been about engaging all members of the society and CS community, in order to improve our uni lives, one way or another. I'm very eager to embrace the challenge and take on a greater responsibility within the society.
