Hi peeps,
I'm Shaye and I'm running for the General Secretary of the Computer Science Society.
As a Workshop Officer of the Game Development Society this year, I organized weekly workshops and helped host the Global Game Jam at UCL. I've also helped brainstorm ideas for technical but engaging events. I look forward to bringing these organizational and management skills to the CSS to make sure all our websites are styled up help with the smooth functioning of the society, so we can show DoCSoc who's really better.
Very coincidentally, I happen to live next door to the current Vice President and thus, I just so happen to know a lot more about the committee than I should (I wonder how that happened...), and I'm sure I'll fit right in.
Vote for me pls I know you want to (thanks!)

I am Raahym Rehan, and I am running for General Secretary of the Computer Science Society. I believe effective communication, organization, and collaboration are the pillars of a thriving community. My experience as the Events Officer for the UCL Mathematics Society and as a Senior Teaching Assistant has honed my skills in fostering engagement, coordinating initiatives, and ensuring that every voice is heard.
In this role, my vision is to create an environment where information flows seamlessly between society members and leadership, and where innovative ideas have a clear path to fruition. I plan to implement improved communication channels that keep everyone informed, organize regular forums that encourage open discussion of both technical and creative topics, and facilitate collaborations that bridge academic projects with industry insights.
I am passionate about not only advancing our collective technical knowledge but also ensuring that our society remains inclusive and supportive. By streamlining our internal processes and creating opportunities for all members to contribute, I aim to help our society evolve into a dynamic hub for innovation, networking, and personal growth. I am committed to building a culture in which our shared interests in computer science and technology can lead to meaningful projects and lasting connections.
