Chinese Students and Scholars Association Society: Treasurer

I am standing to express my keen interest in applying for the position of Treasurer in the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at UCL. As a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management and student leadership, I am eager to contribute my skills to support CSSA’s financial operations and ensure the organization’s continued success.

My experience as Head of the Development Foundation at High School has equipped me with excellent fundraising, budgeting, and financial planning abilities. I successfully organized fundraising events, securing over £25,000 in donations, which directly supported bursary programs and enhanced educational opportunities. This experience has strengthened my ability to manage finances responsibly, track expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently. My proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting will allow me to maintain accurate records and provide detailed financial insights for CSSA’s activities.

Beyond technical skills, my passion for community building aligns with CSSA’s mission of fostering a supportive environment for Chinese students and scholars. I am committed to promoting financial sustainability for events and initiatives that enrich members’ experiences. My strong communication and teamwork abilities will ensure seamless collaboration with fellow committee members and external stakeholders.

去年，作为学联信息部部长，我与团队紧密协作，连接各部门，提升学联的信息化管理与宣传。我们优化了官网，提升访问体验与信息流转效率；运营管理小程序后台，确保信息流转顺畅，努力使其成为活动与服务的重要平台。同时，持续优化微信公众号，定期推文、创建合集，提升宣传效果。

学联服务学生，重在合理使用资金、确保收支平衡而非盈利，为活动提供稳定支持，是财长的意义，不仅管理账目，更要优化资金流动、合理分配、使用透明，让资金发挥最大作用
