Cheer has been such an incredible part of my year. From practice sessions to learning new skills, it’s always been such a fun and rewarding break from uni life. What I love most about Charge is how close we’ve become as a team, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved together.
As a beginner myself, I know how exciting – and sometimes daunting – it can be to join a team like this. Seeing everyone improve throughout the season has been amazing, and I’d love the opportunity to continue supporting that progress as captain. I want to help our members grow in confidence, encourage our team spirit, and make Charge an even more welcoming and enjoyable experience for all.
Beyond training, I’d love to introduce more socials to bring us even closer together! From friendship bracelet-making and baking socials to post-practice brunches and potlucks, I want to make sure we have even more chances to bond off the mat as well. I’d be so excited to help lead Charge next year and keep building the positive, supportive team we’ve created!
