Cats Society: Treasurer

For the amount of time that I have been in the Cats society, I have experienced only the most welcoming of communities. People who are caring, kind, and welcoming to any new members. People who have formed a warm and welcoming community for anyone to enjoy, meet new friends and have fun. This is the kind of community I want to be a bigger part of, and the kind of community I want to help to prosper and to be able to remain the same welcoming space that it was to me.
Hence, I want to nominate myself for the position of the Treasurer. I want to show my appreciation and gratitude for the society, as well as to help sustain and improve it in the next period through this role. I feel that I could best do this through the position of the Treasurer, as I will be actively contributing to the sustainability of the society, and the possibility of new and fun events. Through my efforts, I hope to be able to give back to this wonderful society which as welcomed me so warmly, as I will try to help and ensure it continues to do so for many others.
