Being part of the Calisthenics Society for the past two years, I am very well familiar with how the society is run, its values and members. As the Social Secretary, I will endeavour to organise the most enjoyable and accessible socials for all members to enjoy and feel part of the community. Collaborations with fellow sports societies such as Climbing and RAX will be a focus for next year, for example climbing socials, pub crawls and themed Sports night at Scala.
Calisthenics has become a vital part of my daily life as it helps me push my limits and remain disciplined and committed to my progress. I hope that becoming a member of the Calisthenics committee will drive this passion even further and give me the opportunity to help others who are just at the precipice of their journey ;)
