Boat Club: Cox Captain

Hi!! I’m Audrey! I started coxing in the fall of last year and have been really committed to improving since. From steering to communicating to winning my first race, the process of learning to cox has been incredibly enjoyable, and I’m grateful to everyone who has taken part in my development. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’d love the opportunity to be your cox captain next year!

Next year, I hope to bring that same enthusiasm and energy to training new coxes while maintaining the confidence and drive within the squad! I aim to focus on organization and communication between the coxswains and their crews to foster strong connections, as well as building relationships within the coxswain squad. I’m also genuinely excited to find new coxes with the same eagerness to get on the water—and make them memorize Tideway maps to and race plans!!
