Biomedical Sciences Society: Media and Communications Officer

I am standing for this position since I am curious about the inner-workings of a society, and also because I wish to hone my interpersonal skills – of which are crucial not just in university, but also beyond. These skills include not only coordinating and communicating between committee members, but also communicating with the rest of the student population through effective and clever advertising of events. Moreover, I wish to engage more closely with this society, since the biomed soc provides opportunities for students to gain insight on a wider field of biomedical sciences, whether this be through collaborating with other organisations, or through guest speaking events.
