Hi, Im Saaj and I’m glad to announce my candidacy for Bhangra Society’s Marketing Officer. This unique opportunity would allow me to showcase the vibrant energy of our Bhangra to both the society and the wider community. Bhangra is more than just a dance; it’s a celebration of Punjabi culture and I want to use creative and engaging content to showcase this. By using social media, I want to highlight the incredible experiences our society has to offer – ranging from beautiful performances to fun filled Bhangra socials. Sharing our journey is key to building a stronger community. 

Whether it’s behind-the-scenes clips of rehearsals, member spotlights, or recaps of our best moments, I want to create content that makes everyone feel connected, even beyond our weekly classes. By making our content fun, entertaining, and interactive, I aim to engage not just our current members but also inspire new people to join and experience Bhangra for themselves.

 Most importantly, I want to use this role to celebrate and promote Punjabi culture. Bhangra has such a rich history, and through creative marketing, I hope to bring more awareness to its roots while demonstrating how it continues to evolve today. With fresh ideas and a passion for what we do, I’m excited to take our society’s social media presence to the next level.

Hi!, I’m Jensen and I am eager to take on the role of Marketing Officer for the Bhangra Society!

My main goals for next year are to ensure our society reaches a broader audience and to boost engagement and participation in our classes and social events.

To achieve this, I intend to enhance our online presence by posting more frequent, engaging posts such as countdowns for flagship events such as Rangeela, and event highlights to attract more members onto our page.  To increase engagement from our members, I could promote early bird tickets for socials and plan to produce interactive social media polls to keep everyone excited about upcoming events. I also plan on collaborating with other societies to strengthen outreach and reach wider audiences. I am excited about the next year of the Bhangra Society and hope I can represent the committee as a marketing officer.
