Basketball Club (Women's): BUCS 1st Team Captain

I am running for First Team Captain because I am fully committed to this team and want to bring the championship back to UCL.

Basketball isn’t just a fun for me, it’s my priority, my passion, and the driving force behind everything I do. No matter how busy I am, I rarely miss training, and beyond that, I put in extra work outside of uni to constantly improve my skills and understanding of the game.

Over the past season, I have grown not only as a player but also as a leader. I have stepped up in crucial moments, carried the team when needed, and even delivered last-second plays to push us into overtime. I thrive under pressure, and I play with heart, always putting the team’s success first.

To further strengthen the team, I’ve joined a coaching program to learn drills and strategies that will make us more cohesive and competitive. While I may not have been a captain before, I have experience managing a basketball team, and I understand what it takes to lead, not just through words, but through actions, hard work, dedication, and good decision-makings.

My goal is to create an environment where every player improves, supports one another, and competes at the highest level. If given this opportunity, I will give everything I have to this role, leading with passion, reliability, and an unbreakable drive for success.
