Evelyn Jeffery

From winning the Collective Practice Prize last year to my involvement with the field trip film, I’ve always been an active (and talkative) member of the Bartlett community, however I'm hoping to build a greater sense of this through shaping next year’s Bartlett Society by ensuring that our events, workshops, and opportunities are on budget and useful as possible

Balancing a part-time job while actively seeking opportunities—whether as a PhD Mentee, student grant recipient, or through my studio poster-making habits—have all relied on my ability to meet deadlines, stay organised, and most importantly enjoy forms and spreadsheets. These are all skills I’m eager to bring to the role of Treasurer. While also upholding the current workshops, talks and events, I'm excited to see what more could be done to make use of the Bartlett's connections for students, working to expand understanding about student resources for careers beyond and around Architecture. I’m also passionate about increasing opportunities for experimentation within our degree—whether through new materials, techniques, or skill-based workshops. By improving access to these resources and raising awareness of what’s possible, we can foster even greater creativity and innovation within the Bartlett community.

Overall, I’m confident and excited about the role of Treasurer, but more than anything, I look forward to collaborating with students and committee to cultivate a well-rounded and (fingers crossed) fun year!
