Hey guys, it's Natty here (and I can confirm that I am indeed natty, I know you've been wondering!)
I have been a member of Barbell Club for 2 years now, and I would love the opportunity to be your Vice President. This past year, I've been working as one of the club's Social Media Officers, and I am ready to step up my responsibilities.
I would say that Vice Pres is actually a very multidisciplinary role - which makes me perfect for the job! It requires both leadership and picking up extra workload in other areas, for example when committee members have Uni deadlines to meet. I want to ensure the smooth running of the club; obviously this would include helping out with the social media, but I'm also happy to help plan socials, perform any administrative tasks and run events.
Speaking of running events, I would love to implement more taster events at the start of the year and throughout the year too. This, alongside planning more socials during and after freshers week (and all throughout the year of course), will hopefully ensure that we have more and more people joining the club. I want to foster this amazing community and keep it going!
