Austrian Society: President

Servus everyone!
I’m excited to be running for President of the Austrian Society and can’t wait to help make our community at UCL even stronger. Here’s what I’ll focus on:

1. *Cultural Fun:* I’ll continue the iconic waltz workshops, host cozy Weihnachtsbäckerei & Punsch nights, and keep the regular Stammtisch tradition going. I'll organise events both in London and in Vienna, as well as asking you, what you would like to do more of.

2. *Collaborations:* I’ll team up with other UCL societies for events like Oktoberfest, international potlucks, and build connections with Austrian students all over the UK, young professionals, and institutions like the embassy.

3. *Sports & Traditions:* Expect watch parties for big events like the Kitzbühel downhill and Eurovision—let’s cheer on Austria together!

4. *Career Boosts:* I’ll organize networking events with Austrian alumni and offer mentoring opportunities both at UCL and beyond.

5. *Well-being & Support:* I’ll make sure the society stays a welcoming space where we all look out for each other’s mental health and well-being.

I’m all in on making the Austrian Society a place where we feel connected and supported and can find life-long friends.
