As a dual national Australian and Kiwi, I'd love to be a part of the leadership team within the Australian, New Zealand and Oceania society. I feel like being stuck in the UK without having any friends from home can be very isolating so I would hope to set up events for us to meet each other!
I'd also love to organise events where we bake classic dishes and sweet treats together because if there is one thing I get homesick for its definitely the food. In addition, I'd want to set up pub nights where we get together to watch rugby games and other sporting events for just a chill way to bond.
As social sec and welfare officer, I'd be responsible for organising these events and more, so please vote for me!
