Asiatic Affairs Society: Marketing Director

I have a lot of experience with a diverse range of editing and digital drawing apps such as Canva, Procreate and Sketchbook. I’m also willing to learn formatting for other apps such as Adobe. So I can create really appealing, unique and more artistic Instagram posts! Furthermore, I’ve already done some Instagram publications for other societies this year, and I’m an artist for a different magazine right now. I've written on time for virtually all the regional representative News Drops so I do have a good grasp on my time management and am able to meet deadlines. On the side, I’d love to bring some more central asian diversity to the magazine. I feel like it's been lacking quite a bit, and my connections in Kazakh society and London based central Asian societies could hopefully get us some really interesting collaborations. I am standing for this position of Marketing Director because I love what the society is for and learning more about Asian affairs as their development becomes increasingly important in the global arena. I would like to contribute to the society by utilising my media experience to help convey the society’s values and direction to students through enticing visual material for events.
