Art Society: President

Hey everyone! I’m Sakina, and I’m excited to run for ArtSoc President!

Being part of ArtSoc this year has been incredible—you’re all so talented, kind, and creative, and I’d love the chance to help our society grow even further.

I have leadership experience as a former Head Girl and Art Department Manager, and I want to use that to make our art spaces efficient, welcoming, and inspiring. I’ll make sure your favorite, most-loved events continue, while also working to introduce more frequent, relaxing, and creative sessions where we can unwind, experiment, and enjoy making art together. I’ll oversee events to ensure they run smoothly and truly cater to your creative needs, making every experience enjoyable.

Art is my passion—creating it, analyzing it, and organizing it—and I know it’s yours too. As your Art President, I want to build a stronger art network by bringing in well-known artists, sharing opportunities for exhibitions, and helping you showcase and even sell your work at art pop-ups around London.

I’ll also make sure our materials are always stocked and of great quality, and if there are specific art styles, techniques, or forms you’d love to explore, I’ll prioritize making those sessions happen.
