Argentine Tango Society: President

Hey everyone! 

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the current committee for an incredible year of classes and socials! The warmth and inclusivity of this society make it truly special, and it has been inspiring to see how tango acts as a universal language, bringing together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I am excited to run for president to continue fostering this welcoming and dynamic environment. 

I plan to build on the foundation we already have by continuing our existing events while introducing new ones. In addition, I will focus on strengthening our sense of community by organising more activities that bring members together beyond the dance floor. Whether through additional social events, relaxed practicas, or new creative initiatives, my goal is to ensure that everyone feels connected and engaged. 

Another key focus of mine will be expanding our collaborations with other university tango societies. We already have great connections with some, and I would love to develop these further by organising more inter-university classes, workshops, and social events.

Of course, all of this is just the beginning. While I may be leading the society as president, I strongly believe that its success comes from teamwork. I will ensure that every committee member's voice is heard and that we work together to create an exciting and rewarding year for all our members, both physically and emotionally.
