I'm eager to serve as Events Officer for the Arab and North African Society, driven by a deep interest in the rich tapestry of Arab culture and history. I believe events are the heart of a vibrant community, and I'm committed to crafting experiences that both celebrate and educate. I envision a calendar filled with diverse events, from cultural nights showcasing traditional music, dance, and cuisine, to film screenings and discussions exploring the region's complex history and contemporary issues. My goal is to create spaces for dialogue and understanding, fostering connections among members and sharing the beauty of Arab and North African heritage with the wider UCL community. I'm passionate about bringing historical narratives to life, organizing lectures and workshops that delve into the region's fascinating past.
