I am excited to apply again for the welfare officer role because I genuinely care about fostering a welcoming and supportive environment within our society. I want to be someone that members feel comfortable approaching - whether they need advice, a listening ear, or just a friendly face at events.
This year, I organised the paint-by-numbers event, creating a relaxed space for members to unwind and connect. I plan to arrange a lot more welfare-focused socials, ensuring there are a greater number of opportunities for people to come together, de-stress, and feel part of a close-knit community.
If given the opportunity, I would love to continue making our society a space where everyone feels supported, valued, and able to engage without judgement!!!
