After two years of SAP, I thought I'd step up and give it a bit of my flavour... as a medical student.
Psychedelics have been my core interest since 17, when I shook hands with David Nutt at a conference. Since then, I've been expanding my network and getting involved. One very cool thing has been volunteering in festivals looking after distraught psychedelic users (with PsyCare, check them out).
I used to run debate workshops and am good with digital organisation. Not to forget that I can speak loudly. All these mean we'll have a jolly time!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being President of SAP for the 2024/25 academic year. My goal as President was to expand SAP and bolster a community of psychedelic enthusiasts - across all ages, degree levels and courses.
To accomplish this, I am happy to say I helped organise 5 socials and 9 speaker events - including 3 inter-society collaborations, and a super fun pub quiz with KCL. And it's only March! We've also re-launched our newsletter and have expanded our wonderful committee.
I hope to continue growing SAP throughout the next academic year, in the same style as this year. I look forward to organising more interesting and fun events and expanding our society even further through collaborations.
My goal for next year remains the same: grow and preserve a wonderful psychedelic community at UCL.

Welcome everybody!
I wish to be a part of the Application of Psychedelics Society to change the nature if the society to focus more on 'field-trips' to institutions to see how research actually takes place as well as meetings with policy makers that could actually be both informed by us and asked questions about the legality of psychedelics. I also wish to promote an active movement of skreślony awareness on the potential benefits of psychedelics. Policymakers need to be informed about their potential good and it is up to students to make this change real. Of course, lectures with professionals are insightful and should be a big part of this society. Nevertheless, simply listening is, in my opinion, not enough. Young people want to bring about change - both learn how we can work in the field of psychedelics and how can we influence policy.
