Anthropology Society: President

Hi everyone!

I’m Sami, a current Second year BA Archaeology and Anthropology student, and I’m excited to be running for President of the UCL Anthropology Society. As the current Archaeology and Anthropology Rep, I’ve gained a solid understanding of how our society works and what our members love. If elected President, I would focus on building upon the strong foundation already in place while introducing new events to keep things exciting for everyone.

I want to continue hosting the events that you’ve all enjoyed, such as cookie decorating and pub crawls, while also adding fresh ideas to the calendar. One event I’m particularly excited about is a PowerPoint Night, where members can present on anything, in the most creative and humorous way possible! I’d also love to organize themed movie nights, trivia events, and collaborations with other societies to expand our social network and enhance the student experience at UCL.

As President, I will listen to everyone’s ideas and feedback, ensuring that all members feel heard and involved. Together, we can make the Anthropology Society an even more vibrant and inclusive community!
