Hello everyone, my name is Kleon Muslia, an undergraduate chemistry student, and I would love for your support as I run for treasurer of the Albanian society.
I have always desired to be part of a society that represents our culture in a wonderful way, and to be part of the committee that runs the society, would give me a chance to demonstrate my passion in this field. As treasurer, I will work closely with the president and other members of the committee of the Albanian society to ensure our society runs smoothly and guaranteeing that the society will always be here at UCL. I am dedicated to ensure that the Albanian society will be financially stable so that we can continue to grow as a society, but also bringing all members closer through cultural events, including inspiring others to be part of the society, educating them about our wonderful culture. Finally, after witnessing how fantastic this society is already, I hope to be play my part, working closely together to bring you exciting events, support, and enjoyment; assuring everyone has a memorable time at our Albanian society!

As Director of Academic Events for the International Relations Society, I successfully organized impactful events such as the Kosovan Embassy visit, a collaborative event with the Italian Embassy, a talk from MP Naz Shah, and engaging social gatherings like “Committee Cooks for You” and our games nights. Additionally, I worked on establishing the UCL – University of Prishtina Programme, which allowed UCL students to attend the University of Prishtina’s summer school, fostering cultural exchange and academic collaboration.
As Treasurer of the Albanian Society, I will bring the same dedication and organisational skills to ensure the society thrives financially while expanding our events and opportunities. My experience managing budgets, securing sponsorships, and planning large-scale initiatives has given me the skills to oversee our society’s finances and maximise our resources responsibly.
My goals as Treasurer include:
• Securing sponsorships and funding to expand our events and initiatives.
• Ensuring financial transparency so members know how our funds are being used.
• Budgeting strategically to balance cultural, social, and academic events.
• Supporting initiatives that celebrate Albanian heritage and connect our members.
• Expanding partnerships with universities, embassies, and cultural institutions to create new opportunities for students.
With my experience in event planning, networking, and financial management, I am committed to strengthening the Albanian Society.
