From going to the MAXIS conference to taking part in skill building sessions, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a member of iGT in AIESEC UCL and would love to continue my experience by becoming a VP. The main reason I am applying is that I don't want to let go of my AIESEC experience just yet.
As a VP, I would love to have the opportunity to gift members with an amazing experience, just like I've had. I understand how challenging iGT can be, especially when balancing meeting targets with other priorities. I would bring a sense of community to iGT and AIESEC as a whole, and ensure that members have fun in all of their activities and understand that there is so much more to iGT than just emails. I like to think of myself as a welcoming person who members can trust and learn from, so I hope to allow iGT members to grow during their time at AIESEC.
Thank you so much for your support!

Heyy Guys,
My name is Sofia Kalaykova and I've decided to run for iGT LCVP this year!! I'd first like to start by saying that despite only having been in the soc for less than a term, I've been so inspired by all of you in each function. I initially joined AIESEC because I wanted to make a difference and have an impact outside of my own studies, as well as develop my confidence in my skills, which I really feel will be the case from my experiences so far.
Joining this soc has exposed me to so many unique, motivated individuals and I feel that a position as LCVP will enable me to absorb as much from you guys as possible, as well as give me the opportunity to give some of my own motivation and knowledge to you. I see so much potential in everyone in this soc, and I'd love to be given the opportunity to grow the potential of both the people in AIESEC as well as our soc as a whole next year!
I'd like to also just say that seeing Nethra in this position currently has made me realise how impactful a motivated, capable individual is for a function. My aim as LCVP would definitely be to maintain the strength of our function, building on the holistic goals and skill development approach our function is currently taking.
I'm super excited for the future of AIESEC and I hope you guys are too. I'd be grateful to be trusted with this role, and I assure you guys I'll do my best to push us all to maximise our time at AIESEC.
Sincerely,
Sofia

My name is Aditya Singh, and I joined AIESEC in September 2024.
I joined this society because of its attractive & vibrant culture, evident from its various conferences, the sense of community and the apparent enthusiasm of its members. Upon joining, I worked in the IGT department, before transferring to OGX at the beginning of the year. Consequently, I've developed a strong understanding, not just of these FT's objectives and modes of operation, but also of the different styles of leadership that each FT ran under.
From my experiences, I have developed new ways in which each FT could be improved, by drawing on the "best of both worlds" i.e. the pros of how IgT and OgX are being run, and also learning from the setbacks which each FT faced. Having also served under 2 VPs, both with very different styles of leadership, I have refined my own approach to leadership and how best to manage an FT, again by learning from what did and didn't work. This is why I am standing: my variety of experiences have given me a broader perspective on the day-to-day running of AIESEC, which has supplied me with new ideas and possible leadership styles which I believe will be very effective.
I am running specifically for iGt because having had a look at both FTs, I believe that iGt is currently suffering from a marked lack of morale, and is in desperate need of strong leadership to turn the tide. And since I am not one to turn from a challenge, I am naturally drawn to the post of VP of IGT.
