I want to be the Female Sports Officer for ACS because fitness is a huge part of my life, and I want to help more women to get involved.
Currently, I’m training for a marathon in April to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Taking on this challenge has shown me the power of discipline and community support—things that I believe sports can bring to everyone.
I’m also a member of ACS Netball, where I’ve seen firsthand how team sports can bring people together. I’d love to encourage more women to take part in both competitive and casual sports.
Beyond netball, I’ve been doing gymnastics for years and am part of the UCL Gymnastics Society. Gymnastics has taught me that sports are for everyone, no matter their starting level, and I want to create that same welcoming environment in this society .
On top of that, I go to the gym every day, so fitness is a big part of my routine. I know how important it is to have a space where you feel comfortable working out, and I want to help other women feel confident in the gym and in sports.
If I become Female Sports Officer, I’d work to make sports and fitness more inclusive, and fun for all members, whether they want to compete, stay active, or just try something new.
