Alp Yilmaz

 Hi everyone! My name is Alp, and I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at UCL. This year, I nominate myself for the Treasurer role at the Turkish Society. I have been a member of this valuable community since I started my course. Since the beginning of this academic year, I've been actively contributing to the organisation and logistics of the events. For the next year, I would like to take on more responsibilities in the committee by practising my financial and business skills. I would like to combine the financial knowledge from my master's degree - that I will be studying in the next year- with my budget management skills, aiming to contribute to society's income. I also would like to efficiently use our yearly budget to organise multiple events for our society members. I already met with the majority of the valuable society members but I'm looking forward to meeting you all !
