Defne Kutay

Hi everyone!

I am hoping to be able to work to create a meaningful change within the TEDx Society by widening its audience and increasing its interactivity. As a student journalist and a project lead, I have a good understanding of how to produce engaging output and appeal to diverse audiences. Additionally, since I have worked as a TEDx Translator, I am familiar with the core principles and the inner workings of TEDx. I believe that my experiences will allow me to bring a new creative perspective that would benefit the advancement of this society.

Michelle Prajitno

Hi everyone, my name is Michelle and I am studying BSc Economics and Statistics. The TEDx Society has provided me a place where I can discuss interests close to my heart with like-minded students and form close-knit friendships that I will treasure for life. I am grateful to the society and would like to contribute through a role as Marketing Director.

I am particularly interested in this role as it aligns with both my passion and my previous experiences. Besides having a lot of experience in using photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Canva for personal purposes, I am the Creative Media Executive of the Indonesian Student Association in London which is an extension of the Indonesian Embassy. I am responsible for designing all marketing materials on social media platforms such as Instagram, as well as website management. These past experiences have fostered and strengthened my skills in creating, managing and promoting events both online and offline.

I truly believe that Marketing forms one of the backbones of any society, as it is vital to increase awareness of the society’s events and create interesting campaigns to encourage active student engagement and participation. I hope to be given the opportunity to apply my skills to this role as a creative talent and represent the society and its initiatives professionally.
