Joshua Resultay

Hi, I'm Josh! I'm a first year economics student, and I'm running to be your treasurer.

We all love table tennis, but unfortunately it's not a cheap hobby in London. Renting out the space for a Thursday development session alone including tables, costs upwards of £300, every time.

With such daunting costs, it is crucial that our club has robust finances, so that it continues to better serve as a place for us to bond together through our shared passion for the sport. I've had great fun here already, so I want to use my skills to give back meaningfully.

Here's my plan:

  • Competitively priced memberships to incentivise more people to join the club, growing the community and increasing revenue.
  • More ambitious and interactive recruitment, especially during welcome weeks.
  • Replacing our current box of rackets with a new set of inexpensive yet effective ones so that members without their own can still play and train without much hindrance.
  • Negotiating for more generous grants from the Union, and fervent attempts at attracting sponsors.
  • Making it easier to buy merch. Create a separate, casual kit so we can proudly rep the club anywhere.

My fundamental strategy will be where a fraction of any surplus will be saved in case of emergency, while the rest is responsibly reinvested back into the club, including making incremental improvements to equipment, and subsidising social events.

Ask me anything at [email protected]

Thank you for your consideration.

Nyree Marsh

Hi everyone, my name is Nyree and I am a second-year Arts and Sciences student running for TREASURER!!⭐️

I have been a member of the UCL Table Tennis Club for 2 years now, both socially and competitively, and it has been lots of fun! This year I have been on the committee as Social Media Manager, and it has been super fun being more involved in the club, however next year I am keen on taking a more leading role!!

I am hoping to really stretch and make the most of our finances next year so that UCLTTC can be super great!! I am also hoping to be heavily involved in providing a teamUCL kit for all players within the club (not just team players!). I have experience with budgeting and finances from my time on committee for UCL ABACUS, so I shall utilise the skills I obtained there to do the best job possible!!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me @0nyree on Instagram, and if you like my manifesto please vote for me!!☺️
