Josemi Sorando Campillo

I like to imagine the Surgery and Interventional Science Society as a place where the excitement of medical discoveries meets the warmth of a close-knit group, and you'll see why I'm excited to be your Welfare Secretary. I'm ready to mix the sharp focus of a researcher with the kindness of a friend, building a network of support that's strong and caring. Picture fun and easy-to-understand talks that make complex topics simple, along with relaxing activities that keep our minds fresh and ready to learn. I want to create a place where everyone's curiosity can grow, stress melts away, and all of us feel valued and listened to.

Emilie Sophie Gross

M fluency in four languages—English, French, German, and Luxembourgish—equips me with the means to connect and communicate effectively with members of our society, ensuring inclusivity and cohesion. As a student pursuing a medical-related degree, I am deeply passionate about healthcare and well-being. My academic pursuits have instilled in me a profound interest in surgery and interventional sciences, driving my commitment to supporting the welfare of my peers within the department.
