Despite only going to a massive amount of 2 socials and one trip last year, I love surf society and how supportive and kind the community is! Spain 2023 was unforgettable (UFO's and night surfs) and in such a short space of time I felt like part of a family and would love to be a part of that family even more as welfare officer.                                                                                                                    I like to think of myself as a caring, smiley, chill individual who loves the sea and who loves to think she can surf (I can...ish... sort of), I am always around for a friendly chat and love helping people out. I am a member of Pembrokeshire seal research trust which focuses on surfers helping seal conservation in West Wales and is something I'd love to involve surf club in...surf trip to south west Wales anyone? So yeh, I think that's everything, thank you -Flo xx

Inge Du Toit

Hey! My name is Inge and I would love to be Surf Club's next Welfare Sec!

I am a BSc Psychology student and part time yoga teacher from Cape Town, South Africa. Surf club has been such a great way for me to meet like-minded people and to find a community of people who all bond over the vibe of surfing. If given this position I will ensure that the warm energy that I was exposed to when I first joined stays! Mostly, as welfare sec I would prioritise that every member of the society feels welcome and comfortable, surfing is alllll about how you treat your fellow surfers, and so is this society! To me surfing is one of the most inclusive and all-rounded sports, genuinely being for everyone and anyone, as long as you've got the right mindset. Due to my love for yoga and surfing as a pair, I would hope to bring these two societies together more often too!

I hope you vote for me, thanks <3
