Makanaka Mazheke

Today, I stand before you not just as a candidate, but as a believer in the power of collective action and unwavering determination to tackle one of society's most pressing challenges: homelessness. My journey, rooted in service and fueled by a deep sense of empathy, began as the Secretary of the Interact Club Rotary Sponsored Club during my formative years in high school. It was there that I witnessed the extraordinary impact we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.

If entrusted with the role of Secretary, I pledge to forge strong partnerships with fellow student organizations and community stakeholders. Through collaboration, we will amplify our voices, multiply our impact, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by homelessness. As Secretary, I vow to uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability. Our members deserve to know the ins and outs of our efforts, to feel included in every step of our journey.

Through innovative campaigns, educational workshops, and heartfelt storytelling, we can challenge stereotypes, dispel myths, and mobilize support for evidence-based solutions to homelessness. If elected, I will prioritize creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated, and everyone has a voice in shaping our collective efforts to combat homelessness.

Let us be the voice for the voiceless, the champions of change!!!!!
