Hi! I’m Jennifer :)

As an English student, it goes without saying that I love all things Shakespeare (I’m obligated, really). Getting involved with this society’s productions has been a real highlight of my first year at UCL, and I’m incredibly grateful for how welcoming and supportive it’s been to newcomers like me. I’ve had brilliant opportunities performing in Measure for Measure, working on a production team for the first time, and meeting lots of lovely people who share my passion for drama!!!

That being said, the fun stuff wouldn’t be possible without effectively running the society’s calendar. I’m keen to assist with the general organisation of events and activities, and help promote every wonderful opportunity on offer. Assistant producing Julius Caesar has emphasised to me the importance of admin tasks (anything from scheduling to making blood packs!?!) in ensuring the smooth running of a production, and I have no doubt the same applies to running a society. Essentially, I want exploring Shakespeare’s works to bring you as much joy as it does to me, so I promise the organisation of this society will be in safe hands with me! :))

Will Glaser

For the past two years, I have greatly enjoyed my time with Shakespeare Company. I took part in two shows my first year, Directed a show my second year (the Tragedy of Julius Caesar!) and been on this year as the treasurer for the society. I have a deep understanding of the organisation of the company, as I played a big part in putting together the new standard going forward. I am standing for this role because I would like to be involved in this society on the administrative side, while still keeping time to put forward lots of time to direct and produce and be an active actor in the society! I love Shakespeare, I love working with Shakespeare and I love working with administration, which I believe makes me perfect for the job. I look forward to recieving your vote!
