School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies Society (SSEES): President

Hi all!

I’m Attila, a 2nd-year PSE student and the current VP of SSEES Society.  

If elected, I have a simple 4-point plan:

1) SSEES Merch - We will deliver high-quality, affordable, and varied SSEES merch. To achieve this we will contract RedBird Apparel - used by numerous UCL societies for their own merch.

2) Career-based events -  focused on opportunities for internships and graduate roles in companies interested in the Eastern European space.

3) MORE and MORE socials! - introduce a wider range of social events, including vodka-tasting, and regional food-tasting sessions.

4) More high-profile guests - Continue organising a wide range of events with academics, experts and journalists while diversifying our events to include more serving politicians from the region.

As the current VP of SSEES soc I worked closely with the President and the Committee to ensure the smooth running of the Society this academic year. I hope to continue improving SSEES Soc as President.
