Mohammed Alhashem

In my final year at University College London, I am honored to stand for the position of Treasurer for our esteemed Saudi Society. My vision is to transform our society into a nurturing home for all Saudi students and a vibrant center for multicultural interactions, elevating it to new heights of success and community engagement.

Throughout my time at UCL, I have observed the remarkable achievements of Saudi societies across various UK universities, each shining brightly and setting benchmarks of excellence. It has become clear that our society has the potential to step out from the shadows and claim its rightful place among them. I am committed to realising this potential.

As your Treasurer, my primary goal is to ensure our society's financial health and sustainability. Effective management of our finances—balancing inflows and outflows—is crucial for the vitality and success of our society. It enables us to host memorable events and provides us with the resources to support our members in meaningful ways.

Furthermore, I intend to leverage my existing connections to secure sponsorships and raise additional funds. These efforts will not only enhance our financial stability but also allow us to ambitiously compete with and surpass our counterparts at KCL, the UoM, and the UoL!

By voting for me, Mohammed, you are choosing a future where our Saudi Society thrives financially and becomes a beacon of culture, unity, and excellence for Saudi students at UCL and beyond.

Saudi Arabia is advancing in various fields, and we, as Saudis, are inspired by a vision to pursue, a determination to excel, and a commitment to achieve success. Our mission aligns with our established goals, including the pursuit of excellence in education. As students at prestigious institutions like UCL, we are empowered to unite and inspire one another. I aspire to become the treasurer of the Saudi Society, aiming to ensure our progress through diverse activities and to facilitate numerous events without financial constraints.
