Pole Fitness Club: Treasurer

I am a returning member of the Pole Fitness Society after being involved as a fresher way back in 2015! Since rejoining, as a first year PhD student this academic year, pole classes have become the highlight of my week.

I love the incredibly supportive atmosphere that cannot be replicated by any other society and I would thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of our society. 

So why would I be a great treasurer? I am an astrophysicist which makes me very capable in dealing with numbers and data! I am known for being meticulous in my planning and organisation of my own schedule and events, which means that you can rely on me to deliver on my responsibilities and then some! Financial matters can be boring, but when well managed can be used as a powerful tool for growth and development, I plan to maximise opportunities for our society members. 

Outside of the technical requirements of the role, I plan to be a present and active member of the society. I have already met so many wonderful people through pole and I will continue to do so by making sure that I am a visible member of the committee and community; always cheering you on at varsity, showcase...wherever you like to show off your skills!

I love the activities our club provides and how taking pole classes with pole fitness has been very affordable. I hope to continue providing our members with easily accessible, affordable classes and activities. I will ensure the smooth running of the club, as I am confident that I have the managing and analytical abilities to do so as a mathematical discipline student. I want to contribute my skillset and passion to the club's successes.
