Philosophy Society : Events Coordinator

Hi, I’m Reo and I’m standing for events coordinator for Philosophy society !!

• I already have an active role in the society, as one of the editors of the Bentham Digest
• I attend the majority of the events held by the society, and feel that it would be really exciting to plan some future events, such as socials, academic talks etc., and to just be able to have more of a say in regards to future events
• I would love to be able to influence the progression of the society and have a more active role in society affairs and decisions
• I am organised and good with communication – I feel that this would be of value when it comes to communicating with e.g. potential speakers to organise talks, booking event spaces and rooms, etc. I also really enjoy planning things in general!

Ultimately, it would be really cool to become more involved in Philosophy society as I always have a great time at events and hanging out with the people I see there, and having the chance to become more involved with the society sounds like a really fun opportunity :)
