Netball Club: Vice President

I would love to be the vice president as I am organised and love to be a friendly and helpful face. The vice president organises and manages kit and stash and I love designing as well as have bought like half of the stash so I already know what I like. I would also love to add some new pieces to the stash especially some more colours of the flared sweatpants they are amazing. 

The vice president also organises the end of year summer tour and I love to plan a holiday. I love to find the best deals as well as make itineraries and explore new places. Honestly sounds like a fun Saturday of window shopping holidays. I am also at almost every club event and training so I have experience and now how to aid others in planning and in the production of club activities and events. Honestly, I would love to be the vice-president because I would simply enjoy it and its responsibilities within the club. 

I am standing for Vice-President because I would love to be a part of the 2024-5 netball committee. Being a part of UCNC has been one of the best parts of my first year at UCL and I would love to be able to give back to the new recruit of freshers in September!

Two of the things I have loved most about netball this year have been the kit and contributing to where we are going on tour, so having the chance to organise both next year is so exciting. I am standing for Vice-President, not only because I've been able to learn from the best VP this year in Emily by being on her team and helping her in small ways with the tour and kit, but also because I feel as though I could bring a lot to the position. I'm organised and friendly, so hopefully I would be an approachable member of the committee, but also able to get things done in advance.

My commitment to the 4s, the 3s when needed, and most importantly Scala has been very high so I will be able to transfer this to being readily available to organise and assist when needed, and fill in for the President if she is unable to. My main change for the 24-25 season is to ensure that there are enough wide-leg joggers for everyone!!!! I also hope to continue Emily's legacy in involving as much of the society as I can in making decisions and furthering the society-wide aim of making the netball club one that everybody wants to be a part of, and feels included in.
