Music Society (RUMS): Treasurer

Hi, I’m Daivi and I’m running to be RUMS Music’s Treasurer!

I love RUMS Music and want to seek any opportunity to give back to this wonderful community. Having been a part of RUMS Music for four years and serving on committee for the last three, each year I have enjoyed all the events we have put on like Christmas dinners, concerts and community charity events.

Balancing the books of a society is not new to me. As project leader of Save a Baby’s Life for the last 2 years, I had to organise our budget for the year and coordinate with the Students’ Union so that we could deliver our infant life-saving workshops to the community.

As Treasurer, I want to

• Try and organise a RUMS Music tour next year! I understand what we need to do to achieve this and want to start organising this as soon as the year begins
• Create some gorgeous merch to add to our RUMS Music collection - for the whole society and the individual ensembles
• Tackle the paperwork early on to ensure that RUMS Music runs smoothly.

Hi everyone! I’m Haowen, running for RUMS music treasurer. As a member of heartstring, I really appreciate the friendly and welcoming nature of our society. I am a diligent person who treats work with carefulness and dedication, and I think that RUMS music is a unique place where we could gather and share our thoughts through the expression of music. Therefore, I truly wish that I could contribute to our society and collaborate with our members to make RUMS music an even better society!
